My name is Ilona and I live in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
My work is all about writing.
I love sending – and receiving – long emails.
I keep diary.
I read around 50 books a year.
I am fascinated by languages and the art of words.
However, there are times when I get wordstressed and that is when I take photos. My photo-editing skills are rather simple. What you see here, is what I have been lucky enough to capture. I have taken all the pictures between now and the beginning of the year 2006 (that is when I got my first digital camera).

Thank you for your comments – I appreciate them! Yes, I have been traveling to few places, and enjoy returning to those destinations by going through my photos. There are also fresh shots among the older ones.
You are right about the fact that we have a lot of things in common. I haven’t met too many other people who really like sending long emails!
I have always admired good photography. Its something I’ve always wanted to pursue and be good at but never gotten round to doing
Hi Alap, thank you for commenting and following! More than long emails I actually love long letters. It is such a shame I very seldom get (or write) them nowadays.
If your comment indicates that you like my photos, I am thankful for your words. My camera is rather pathetic and there is no way I can reach any high levels with it – therefore I keep it simple and take photos I like myself. If somebody else likes them too, I’m thrilled!
